Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Management:
- Responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including budgets, financial statements, and reports.
Compliance:
- Ensuring that the college adheres to all relevant financial regulations and policies.
Budgeting and Financial Planning:
- Assisting in the development and monitoring of budgets, as well as financial planning and forecasting.
Financial Analysis:
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
Payroll and Accounts Payable:
- Handling payroll processing and managing accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Financial Expertise:
- Providing guidance and support to staff and researchers on financial matters, including project management and grant accounting.
Audit Support:
- Collaborating with external auditors and ensure that the college's financial records are accurate and auditable.
